The Tennis Shop Attendant provides outstanding customer service, assists members in finding and purchasing the required merchandise as well as controlling tennis court scheduling and play. The attendant must be familiar with the tennis program and all of its components to inform members of individual and group opportunities. Strong communication over the phone and in-person is required.
Job Requirements include but are not limited to:
- Open and close tennis shop as scheduled.
- Take court reservations from members in person, over the telephone, and via the internet.
- Learn the tennis clinic and tennis match schedule to inform members or guests of directions to the appropriate court.
- Assist customers with merchandise selection, and equipment sales and repair.
- Keep the tennis shop neat and orderly at all times.
- Receive and process cash, check, and charge/credit payments.
- Recognize and monitor tennis shop inventory.
- Arrange and display merchandise.
- Receive tennis rackets for repair, and deliver to customer as requested.
