Job Information:
- this position doubles as Expeditor (Expo) and checks orders and instructions as the tickets come into the kitchen and checks for special instructions, calls out the orders to the line and assembles trays before they are sent into the dining room.
- Food Runner pulls passing servers or managers to run food and maintains order of trays going out. At times the Food Runner must run the trays out.
- This position serves as communication between the Front and Back of the House, observing all rules and expectations of the Chef.
- Food Runner/ Expo is also responsible for all training material and knowledge of all food and wine items on the menus and special sheets and must exhibit a willingness to learn.
- Must be available to work PM shift (4pm-8pm), 3-4 days per week, weekends, and holidays.
- Experience in hospitality or any other related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Must be able to pass a background check, drug screening and be eligible to work in the United States.
